New iPhone 3G S

The new iPhone 3G S was unveiled today. It will be available starting June 19 (2009).

This new version of the iPhone has a 3 megapixel camera, picture messaging and voice activated commands.

Other new features announced are a digital compass, a longer lasting battery, MMS and laptop tethering. You need to check with your carrier to make sure that those are supported on the network.

The phone in itself has the same look as the previous 3G version.

The iPhone 3G S will come with the brand new OS 3.0 that will be available on iTunes starting June 17.

Apple also announced that the iPhone 3G 8GB now only costs $99, a pretty decent deal if you ask me.
